Hello -
A friend told me to check out your site. He said it might explain something very scary that happened to me and some friends a couple of years ago. We had heard about this old farm house in Huron County that had been abandoned for quite awhile. Some people said it was haunted. We’re big fans of the ghost hunter type shows, so on this one night, me and *******, *******, and ******* decided to check it out.
We got there about 11:30. This is in a very rural area, so it’s very dark out there. ******* got immediately freaked out and said she wouldn’t get out of the car. We got out and walked around for a few minutes but didn’t really see anything around the house. My camcorder doesn’t have a night mode so it didn’t pick up anything at first except our voices.
We were just about to leave when I said we should go back toward this old stone well. We had just watched “The Ring” a few nights before, so ******* got scared and said he wouldn’t go near it. I was trying to tell him there was nothing scary there and just then there was this really low growl, very close to us. ******* said later he even felt this hot breath on his neck.
We took off running back to the car. I heard something like a rock or stick fly right past my head. We jumped in and took off like a bat out of hell. All of us were shaking like crazy. We talked about going back, but decided it would be better to stay clear from that place.
A few days later, ******* and me decided to go back in the daylight. The place was a lot less scary then. We looked around and didn’t find anything, then ******** saw this giant track in a muddy spot between the house and the well. This was really close to the spot where we were standing that night. ******** snapped a picture of the track with his cel, and I’m sending that along with the video. This was the only track we found. It was probably 6 or 7 inches across.
We had never heard about the Michigan dogman until we saw your site. I’m not saying that’s what it was because we never saw anything, but it makes me wonder.
