Wessex Way, England - 2007

This video first showed up on a site called Loaded Paranormal, and the webmaster there has graciously allowed us to re-publish it here. The film was sent to the site anonymously. At first glance, it might appear that we are watching a large dog or perhaps a deer crossing a highway at night. Not at all an unusual occurance. However, I invite you to study the film closer.

Keep in mind that this is a four-lane divided highway, approximately 100 feet wide from edge to edge. Whatever this animal is, it clears that distance in 6 bounds, including jumping the guard rail in the center. That equals a stride of roughly 16 feet. Compare also the relative size of the creature to the vehicles. It is at least as the same width as the car that approaches in the near lane. Now examine closely the character of the stride. It is awkward, and clumsy, not smooth like a deer or greyhound. The rear legs of the creature are considerably longer than the front, causing a rear-high posture, much as one would expect from a bi-ped capable animal choosing to run on all fours.

Finally, watch closely the last few moments as the creature passes in front of the car and exits on the near side of the road. The stride changes dramatically, with the rear legs extending far behind the animal as it dashes to the shoulder. This movement is very similar to a human running on all fours. If you can identify what this is, please let me know!
